Product structure
The two ends have offset centerlines. A Tri-Clamp joint connects mating ferrules with a separate clamp and gasket.
Eccentric reducer design
Because one side is flat, the source positions it as reducing pooling risk compared with a concentric reducer.
The fitting can also be used when one end is vertically offset from the other and is inserted inline.
